The Role

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll be key to protecting our organisation against a range of cyber threats. From malware outbreaks and insider activity to denial-of-service attacks and phishing, your role will be vital in detecting, responding to, and mitigating risks. Each day may involve investigating alerts, analysing logs or network traffic, monitoring security alarms, creating detection content, using threat intelligence, or responding to breaches. You will lead efforts to improve our processes, mentor junior analysts, and support digital forensics and incident response. You’ll also stay updated with the latest cybersecurity tools and techniques, review past alerts, and prioritize incidents based on severity and impact.

About You

You’ll have a background in cyber security analysis and a passion for IT. Experience with host intrusion detection analysis and a good understanding of Windows and Linux OS are preferred. You need at least 6 months experience as a Cyber Security or SOC Analyst. You should be comfortable working independently and with teams, collaborating with IT and network staff, and possess effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Training and Development

We support your growth through internal and external training, industry qualifications like SANS and CISSP, and opportunities to attend conferences. Travel is infrequent and not mandatory.
