Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Risk Manager to lead risk management across services. The permanent role offers flexible working and is based in locations including Nottingham. Salary around £57,515 per annum with a strong pension and leave benefits.

You will manage a small security team, work with Enterprise Architecture, and align risk with the DVSA Data Strategy while embedding security into the service development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Chartered Cyber Professional status or willingness to pursue it.
• Experience in cloud security across AWS or Azure platforms.
• Ability to lead risk management and influence governance decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management activities for complex scenarios and compliance.
• Direct specialists, promoting development and sharing best practices.
• Lead analyses of security needs and risk assessments for governance.
• Provide guidance on cyber security governance and risk to service owners.
• Shape decision making with effective reporting and SME input.
