Role Summary

We’re hiring a Senior Cyber Defence Engineer to join a cyber team within a growing financial organisation. You’ll help manage and improve key security tools, support cloud projects, and lead troubleshooting issues across infrastructure, endpoints, and applications.

Key Requirements

1. 3+ years in a cyber/security engineering role
2. Strong troubleshooting skills (endpoint/server/infrastructure)
3. Hands-on experience with SIEM (e.g., Splunk), PAM (e.g., CyberArk), WAF, email security, and endpoint tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel)
4. Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
5. Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Azure
6. Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) and tools like Terraform or GitLab
7. SANS certifications are a strong plus
