Job summary

EY is expanding its UK EMEIA Cyber Practice and seeks a Cyber Security Senior Consultant to support cloud security engagements for Financial Services clients. You’ll help design secure multi‑cloud architectures, contribute to CNAPP/CSPM tool implementations, and guide delivery teams under senior guidance.

You will work onsite in London or Edinburgh, collaborating with Managers, Senior Managers and Directors, and coaching junior staff to uplift delivery quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Financial Services clients on cyber security best practices and cloud risks.
• Knowledge of UK Financial Services security standards and regulatory expectations.
• Hands-on contribution to cloud security architecture and delivery initiatives.
• Solid understanding of core cloud services (networking, IAM, compute, containers, data).
• Exposure to CNAPP/CSPM platforms such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or Microsoft Defender.
• Foundational Kubernetes security knowledge (RBAC, workload identity, container image security).

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute as a key delivery team member on engagements of varying size and complexity.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, review security configurations and policies, and meet EY standards.
• Develop accelerators like reference architectures, templates, and runbooks to speed engagements.
• Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, demos, and solution architecture workshops.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to a collaborative learning culture.
• Build strong client relationships across EY stakeholders and alliance partners.
