A leading professional services advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Cyber Security team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious cyber security professional to shape and drive the strategic cyber agenda for clients. The successful candidate will advise clients on cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, strategy, operating models, and security best practices. Key responsibilities include leading high-impact engagements, navigating complex cyber threats, working with senior executives, managing teams, overseeing project delivery, contributing to thought leadership, and identifying business growth opportunities.

The position is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely and in the office (Edinburgh or Glasgow) 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and ensuring compliance with regulations (e.g., FCA, PRA, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Develop relationships with senior stakeholders like CISOs, CIOs, Risk Managers, and Board Members.
  • Identify cyber security challenges and offer tailored solutions.
  • Support clients in cyber risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
    • Collaborate with internal groups to define and implement go-to-market strategies.
    • Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
    • Contribute to thought leadership through insights, white papers, and campaigns.
    • Lead responses to RFPs and secure new business.
  • Project Leadership & Cyber Security Delivery:
    • Oversee complex cyber security projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
    • Provide strategic oversight on areas like threat management, IAM, cloud security, incident response, and security architecture.
    • Review technical assessments and compliance reports.
    • Lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Mentor junior team members.
