Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant for a part-time role (50% utilisation) with an initial duration of 3 months. The ideal candidate will possess deep AWS security expertise and desirable certifications. This position requires a solid understanding of generative AI, including securing GenAI implementations. The Senior Cyber Security Consultant will liaise with the client's CSO/CISO team and manage a small team of cybersecurity consultants, supporting multiple teams of AI application engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage AWS security measures and best practices.
• Collaborate with the client's CSO/CISO team to ensure alignment with security policies and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity consultants.
• Support AI application engineering teams in securing AI implementations.
• Understand and apply GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) frameworks to AI architectures.
• Develop and tailor cybersecurity frameworks to meet client-specific governance and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience and Attributes

• Extensive experience with AWS security.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty).
• Strong understanding of generative AI and securing GenAI implementations.
• Experience liaising with CSO/CISO teams and managing cybersecurity consultants.
• Proficiency in GRC frameworks and their application to AI architectures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with machine learning and AI security.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
