Key duties include supervising a team of Customs Executives, overseeing day-to-day activities, and ensuring SLAs are met.

This is a specialist role focused solely on customs operations, rather than end-to-end logistics. The role also offers opportunities to develop into customs consultancy projects.

Your Role:

  • Customs Entries: Handling UK customs entries for import ocean shipments, including home use and simplified entries.
  • Supervision: Overseeing a team of customs operators, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring targets are met.
  • Customer Interaction: Engaging in customs consultancy, providing guidance and support to customers, and ensuring compliance.
  • Technical Tasks: Managing reclaims and amendments to customs entries, and potentially getting involved in customs warehousing.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong customs knowledge
  • Team leadership/supervisory experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle data accurately
  • Cargowise system knowledge
  • Strong CPC Understanding (e.g., Customs Warehousing, IPR, OPR)
