Our client, the UK's most comprehensive stockholder of their industry is seeking a Customer Service Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic senior leadership team. This permanent role involves service delivery and supply chain customer service within purchasing, logistics and complaints teams. The successful candidate will be based in Wednesbury and support operations across the client's 20 service centres.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing customer service delivery within the supply chain
  • Managing and improving the customer experience across multiple service centres
  • Collaborating with the Customer Experience Manager and Operations Director to ensure efficient supply chain processes
  • Implementing strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and procurement efficiency
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 20-30 procurement personnel, emphasising strategic development
  • Reversing the current structure to focus on strategic roles with the support of administrative staff
  • Working on-site in Birmingham two nights a week, as required
  • Maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in service delivery within the distribution sector or similar
  • Strong background in customer service
  • Excellent managerial and leadership abilities
  • Ability to strategically plan and restructure team roles efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight as required
