Bilingual Senior Customer Account Manager (Italian speaking)

gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Customer Account Manager to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City.

Performance Objectives

  • Assist in the development and implementation of customer service standards with commercial focus.
  • Assist with auditing quality of service in line with the set standards and give feedback to management.
  • Adjust the order book for the customers' requirements.
  • Co-ordinate with planning to ensure scheduled dates are met or that alternative dates are determined.
  • Work with senior managers to develop new and efficient methods of reporting variations to clients.
  • Host customer on site visits and co-ordinate with other departments.
  • Visit customer sites for reviews as required.
  • Produce shipping paperwork and liaise with client as required.
  • Maintain customer portals.
  • Order entry and job creation on system.
  • Oversee entire RFQ Process, from receipt to submission, ensuring timely and competitive proposals.
  • Generate various reports for the Commercial Account Manager.
  • Using Business Process Manual.

Person Specification

  • Italian Speaker.
  • Level 3 Management Certification or equivalent.
  • Experienced in coaching and mentoring.
  • Comfortable and experienced in communicating, negotiating in person, via telephone and email.
  • Experience of planning and prioritising to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of people and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, suppliers, immediate team members and other production teams.

Desirable

  • Customer services qualification.
  • Engineering background.
  • Experience of resolving people issues.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of contract law.
