Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting for a Senior Healthcare Professional to provide high-quality clinical care in custody settings across Lancashire. You will conduct clinical assessments, determine fitness for detention or transfer, and perform forensic examinations while supporting and developing the nursing and paramedic teams.

You'll deliver supervision, training and competency assessments, promote clinical governance, and deputise for the Clinical Lead when needed.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or paramedic with current registration (NMC/HCPC).
• Experience in custody/forensic healthcare advantageous.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Able to work autonomously and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care within custody settings.
• Carry out clinical assessments and determine fitness for detention, interview, release or transfer.
• Conduct forensic examinations and document clinical findings.
• Support Clinical Lead with supervision and development of nursing/paramedic staff.
• Deliver clinical supervision, training and competency assessments.
• Promote governance, quality assurance and compliance with standards.
• Deputise for the Clinical Lead when required.
