We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Curriculum Manager to lead and develop our Engineering curriculum. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll drive innovation in teaching and learning, ensure outstanding quality, and support both staff and students to achieve excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead curriculum development and introduce innovative teaching and monitoring methods.
  • Manage and support teaching and support staff, including performance reviews and observations.
  • Deliver between 288–400 teaching hours per year, providing cover when needed.
  • Ensure robust quality standards, assessment processes, and student progress monitoring.
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Recruit, induct, and develop staff to maintain exceptional teaching and learning standards.
  • Build strong industry links by liaising with employers, partners, and external agencies.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and promotional activities for the programme area.
Who You Are

You’re an experienced educator with a strong background in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical), ideally including apprenticeships. You hold a degree or relevant professional qualification and either have a recognised teaching qualification or are working towards one. Your passion for education drives you to deliver high-quality learning experiences and inspire both staff and students.

As a natural leader, you bring excellent people management skills, proven expertise in curriculum development, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards. Highly organised and tech‑savvy, you communicate effectively and uphold the principles of Equality, Diversity, and Safeguarding in everything you do.
