Job description

Join to apply for the Senior CT Rotational Radiographer role at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking a qualified, ambitious, and motivated Rotational Senior CT Radiographer (Band 6) for Core Services in Plain X-ray and CT. This position will be based at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, with rotation to Buckland Hospital in Dover.

As a key team member, you will work with advanced technology and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional imaging services. Responsibilities include:
  • Perform radiographic examinations across various modalities to departmental standards.
  • Complete high-quality examinations following ALARA principles.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and comfort, focusing on patient needs.
  • Work efficiently and effectively at all times.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize your workload.
  • Undertake intravenous cannulation and administer medicines as per departmental policy.
  • Report untoward incidents and equipment failures to the relevant lead radiographer or medical physics expert.
  • Work independently when required.
  • Supervise junior staff to support their learning and development.
  • Exhibit role model behavior and deputize for senior radiographers to ensure continuity of service.
