Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior CT Radiographer to join our team at the Taunton Diagnostic Centre.

The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of CT examinations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience to further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible, patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care and service are essential.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of CT experience, with strong organizational skills to work effectively within the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with IT literacy, are essential. Experience in performing different types of CT scans (including contrast and non-contrast) on a routine basis is required.

• Previous cannulation experience is advantageous.
• IV Cannulation skills are essential (training will be provided if needed).
• Evidence of Clinical competency is required.
• A flexible approach to work is necessary.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.
• Innovative, forward-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• IT literacy is a must.
• Ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team.
• HCPC registration is mandatory.

You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff, reporting to the Imaging Manager.
