Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Senior Operative to join our Computed Tomography (CT) Department. You will help ensure the quality, reliability and performance of components supporting our racing operations, using advanced CT to verify manufacturing processes and support engineering intent.

You will perform CT inspections, analyse data, and produce clear reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CT scanning equipment, ideally within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of CT data analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality and delivery are critical.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Experience with VGStudio Max, Nikon CT equipment, or other NDT techniques would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) inspections in line with defined procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse CT data and produce clear, accurate technical reports.
• Communicate inspection findings and contribute to technical discussions and problem-solving activities.
• Support automated and "lights-out" CT operations to meet manufacturing and service deadlines.
• Promote best practice and help maintain world-class quality standards across the department.
• Play an active role in driving performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
