Job summary

DBD is seeking a Senior CS&A Engineer to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure in a highly regulated environment, contributing to national operations. The role sits in a multi-disciplinary team, delivering asset upgrades and construction projects for defence-related or nuclear contexts.

You will review consultant outputs, ensure safety and compliance, and drive design changes across project phases while producing rigorous engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering civil/structural designs in highly regulated environments (preferably nuclear, defence, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Support the design and assurance of civil, structural, and architectural CS&A systems.
• Review and guide design outputs from consultants and internal teams.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet safety, compliance, and performance standards.
• Support technical integration across disciplines and through project phases.
• Respond to construction-phase technical queries and manage design changes.
• Prepare and review high-quality engineering documentation.
