Job summary

BVNK is seeking a Senior Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst to join our fast growing FCI team. You will handle screening and transaction monitoring to prevent misuse, conduct in-depth investigations across digital assets and fiat, and own cases from BVNK’s systems while mitigating financial crime risk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in crypto transaction monitoring within regulated institutions or digital assets.
• Experience in a B2B context; B2C exposure is a plus.
• Experience reviewing sanctions and watchlist screening alerts.
• Familiarity with Chainalysis, Elliptic or TRM.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to automate tasks and improve workflows.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and risk-based frameworks.
• Experience drafting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review sanctions and watchlist screening alerts on entities and individuals.
• Manage end-to-end financial crime investigations from various sources.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows using AI and automation.
• Coach junior team members and handle escalations.
• Draft SARs for submission to authorities.
• Collaborate with teams responsible for transaction monitoring systems and test rule changes.
• Proactively enhance BVNK’s control environment.
