Job summary

Viva.com, a leading fintech in Europe, is expanding its Anti-Financial Crime Unit and seeks an AML/CFT Senior Investigator to strengthen our controls. The role is on-site to enable close collaboration with AFC, Data and Technology teams.

You will lead high-quality investigations, leverage AI-assisted tools to analyze transactions, sanctions and high-risk activity, and mentor junior analysts. The position offers a dynamic, learning-focused culture in a tech-forward company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in AML/CFT investigations, transaction monitoring or related AFC roles.
• Strong knowledge of FATF, EU AMLD, EBA/ECB guidelines and ability to apply pragmatically.
• Willingness to work with AI-assisted investigation tools; exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality AML/CFT investigations across alerts and high-risk activity.
• Perform deep-dive analysis and draw defensible conclusions per regulations.
• Provide second-level review and QA on junior analysts' work.
• Draft clear investigation narratives and SAR/STR reports, with AI-assisted drafting.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance workflows and detect patterns.
• Support internal training and guidance to junior investigators.
• Contribute to refining detection rules and risk scoring models.
• Collaborate with Data and Tech teams to improve alert relevance.
