Job summary

Hermeneutic Research is seeking a Senior Event-Driven Researcher to translate fast-moving crypto developments into actionable insights and tradeable opportunities. You will synthesize on-chain signals, governance shifts, and regulatory moves into a coherent view that informs positioning and risk for the firm.

You’ll work with on-chain and real-time intelligence teams, access proprietary data sources, and challenge ideas through rigorous debate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in information and flows-driven research or trading.
• Experience operating in event-driven settings with incomplete information.
• Ability to form coherent views as situations evolve.
• Demonstrated curiosity about crypto with ability to ramp up quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop context-rich views on event-driven situations end-to-end.
• Monitor new information and distinguish signal from noise.
• Identify early actionable, asymmetric opportunities.
• Contribute to the firm’s research capabilities.
