Job summary

Jump Crypto, the crypto division of Jump Trading Group, seeks a campus/full-time researcher to shape strategic efforts. You will work with senior leaders and researchers to identify macro trends, advise engineers, and produce research reports.

Your deep crypto knowledge and understanding of distributed systems will guide partnerships and product strategies. You will explore MEV trends, tokenomics modeling, and strategic opportunities, collaborating across teams and communicating complex ideas

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of crypto/blockchain tech and industry trends.
• Ability to turn industry insights into actionable content and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the broader crypto landscape and identify new opportunities for Jump Crypto.
• Translate industry trends into actionable architecture, product, or investment strategy.
• Aggregate information from technical repositories, research reports, white papers, industry relationships, and team feedback to produce valuable content and recommendations.
• Empower the Jump Crypto team through research that informs deals, product insights, and partnerships.
• Contribute to partnerships through advice on code, tokenomics modeling, and strategy.
• Produce insights on incomplete data to guide investments and product strategy.
• Identify early-stage opportunities for investments, engineering, market making, and trading operations.
• Share research insights on new trends through writing or presentations.
