Job summary

Quantum Motion is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to drive ultra-low-power cryogenic CMOS digital control blocks. You will span the full design cycle—from RTL to tape-out—developing high-density, low-power circuitry for sub-Kelvin operation in a cutting-edge quantum computing ecosystem.

The role demands 5+ years in digital/mixed-signal IC design, strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and experience with CTS/STA, DFT, and physical design flows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on digital and mixed-signal IC design with at least 2 tape-outs on advanced nodes.
• Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog for synthesizable RTL and Verilog-AMS/SystemVerilog-Real-Math for co-simulation.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA toolchains for mixed-signal simulation, synthesis, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and back-end digital design for cryogenic CMOS control subsystems.
• Oversee RTL development, AMS co-simulation, physical implementation, low-power synthesis, and tape-out signoff.
• Architect high-speed interconnect protocols and complex FSM control logic.
• Convert RTL to GDSII/OASIS layouts with CTS and multi-corner timing analysis.
