An opportunity has arisen for a driven and highly skilled Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer who strives for excellence and wishes to be part of a world-class imaging service. Expert cardiac training will be provided where necessary. This post is at Wimpole Street, on a one-year fixed contract for maternity cover.

The role involves working as a Cross-sectional rotational Senior Radiographer, delivering high-quality CT, X-Ray, and MRI services. The successful candidate will provide specialist clinical knowledge and skills in cross-sectional imaging, with particular emphasis on cardiovascular imaging.
We seek an experienced MRI/CT cardiovascular radiographer eager to develop their skills in a busy yet small department. Candidates with the following skills will be considered, with necessary training provided:

You will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and providing exceptional patient care, in accordance with:
The post holder is expected to work effectively as part of a team, supporting others in an adaptable and approachable manner, and contribute to the development of the new facility.
Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, the post holder will participate in inspections by statutory bodies such as Health and Safety, CQC, etc., if required.
Perform a range of diagnostic MR/CT procedures, managing patient priorities appropriately.
Contribute to an effective and responsive Radiology service.
Supervise, assist, and train students and assistant staff, supporting their development.
Manage workflow and ensure data inputs are accurate for patient records and statistical purposes.
Uphold high professional and technical standards through personal example.
Maintain and develop your technical and theoretical skills through CPD.
Participate in departmental governance activities, including risk management, health and safety, research, and audit.
