Join our Digital Marketing team in a pivotal new role that supports Marston’s ambition to become the UK’s number one local pub company. As Senior CRM Data Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing our CRM strategy - leveraging customer data, systems, and technology to enhance how we engage with guests across direct channels. Your work will directly contribute to increasing guest frequency, loyalty, and ultimately, pub revenue.

Reporting to the Head of Digital and working closely with the Digital Director, you’ll also be a core member of the team delivering our order & pay app — our first end-to-end mobile commerce solution. You’ll bring a customer-first mindset to this exciting rollout, ensuring our digital experiences are aligned with strategic goals.

This is a highly cross-functional role, offering the opportunity to make a senior-level impact through a broad skill set, including data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Devising and implementing the CRM strategy for Marston’s, working to understand how we can maximise our 1st party data to build advocates through a defined segmentation and communication strategy. Provide thought leadership on how Marston’s can better evaluate customer lifetime value.
• Along with the Head of Digital and CRM, lead our relationship with key agencies ensuring we are getting value and delivering against key objectives.
• Play a key role in the development of our customer facing app proposition, ensuring key project milestones are met, and devise a customer data strategy for growt h
• Deliver actionable insights from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data to inform campaign planning and performance optimisation as well as leading the development of dashboards and reporting frameworks to track CRM KPIs
• Collaborate with our agencies and the wider digital and marketing teams to deliver dynamic, data-driven campaigns. Support the integration of behavioural and transactional data into campaign workflows . Take a lead role in the management of our customer database, overseeing data quality, implementing data governance policies, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Oversee the daily data operations including contact updates, campaign triggers, and API feeds (e.g. DeployTeq , Dynamics).
• Collaborate with wider digital and brand marketing colleagues to ensure campaign moments and events are executed across digital touchpoints.
• Be confident in building relationships with key stakeholders such as IT and operations to land new developments and initiatives

Requirements for the Role:

• Strategic experience in a fast-paced environment with a competence and confidence in complex matrix organisations.
• Proven experience in CRM data management, ideally within hospitality, retail, or consumer-facing sectors.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, campaign management tools (e.g. DeployTeq ), and customer data platforms (CDPs).
• Proficiency in data and analysis platforms such as Google Analytics
• Experience working with GDPR and data privacy frameworks.
• Experience in ecommerce environments
• Experience of working with app's as part of an overall digital eco-system
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skill
