Take the lead in global nuclear safety.

Join AtkinsRéalis as a Senior Criticality Safety Engineer in our Nuclear & Power Division, supporting the design of complex projects to protect client assets. This role offers opportunities for growth across diverse projects in highly regulated nuclear environments.

Your purpose:

Support project delivery within the Nuclear and Power business, working on various client projects across the industry spectrum, from initial setup to project completion, in environments ranging from new builds to decommissioning.

What you can bring:

• Degree in physics, chemistry, mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, or equivalent expertise.
• Experience with industry radiation transport codes like MCNP, MONK, SCALE for k-effective calculations.
• Proven delivery of criticality assessments and related documentation such as HAZANS, CANs, and CCCs.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams as a criticality safety engineer.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Understanding of safety-critical design requirements in nuclear industries.
• Knowledge of project and client management principles.
