Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full‑time substantive Consultant Psychiatrist for the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team based in Stockport. The post provides medical leadership and clinical management for adults in crisis treated at home or during discharge from inpatient services.

You will work with other consultants to develop services, contribute to teaching, and engage with research projects.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or eligible, or within six months of the anticipated award of a CCT.
• Full-time substantive Consultant post in the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.
• On Call frequency is 1 in 27.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and clinical management for the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.
• Deliver high-quality mental health care to adults in crisis treated at home orDischarge planning from inpatient services.
• Collaborate with other consultants and teams, and attend service development meetings.
• Contribute to teaching of medical and nursing staff and engage with research links.
