We are Lancashire Cricket Club, a leading sports organization dedicated to promoting cricket in the region. We are currently seeking a Senior Cricket Development Officer to oversee our Clubs and Leagues department.

Role Overview:

The Senior Cricket Development Officer will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of cricket clubs and leagues in the Manchester/Liverpool/Lancashire area. This position is remote, allowing flexibility in working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and development of cricket clubs and leagues.
  • Provide guidance and resources to clubs and leagues to enhance their operations and promote participation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including local authorities and cricket governing bodies, to drive initiatives that benefit clubs and leagues.
  • Organize events, workshops, and training sessions to upskill club officials and coaches.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of development programs to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the sports and leisure industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cricket and the club/league structure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in sports management or a related field.
