We're hiring: Senior Credit Risk Analyst - up to £85,000 plus bonus and benefits

Hybrid | 2 days in-office, London | Flexible working | Work from anywhere for 30 days/year

NO RELOCATION/SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE - HOWEVER OPEN TO VISA TRANSFER IF ALREADY IN THE UK.

We are now looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our banking clients Risk & Analytics team and help shape the future of credit risk strategy and decision-making at the bank.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Develop and maintain IFRS 9 ECL models across secured and unsecured products
  2. Monitor portfolio performance and detect early signs of credit deterioration
  3. Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to assess portfolio resilience
  4. Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  5. Ensure full compliance with IFRS 9, CONC, and other credit risk frameworks
  6. Champion the use of advanced analytics to boost risk insight and decision-making
What you’ll bring:
  1. A strong numerical background (Maths, Engineering, Physics) or relevant experience
  2. Proven track record in credit risk modelling and large-scale data analysis
  3. Advanced skills in Python (or R/SAS) and SQL
  4. Clear communicator who can translate complex data for non-technical audiences
  5. Deep knowledge of IFRS 9, ECL methodology, and credit regulations
  6. Confident in challenging and influencing across teams
