About The Role

9 month fixed term opportunity.

What you will do

1. You will take ownership of credit risk strategies for the consumer lending portfolio, including designing, implementing, and monitoring the performance of new and existing strategies.
2. Responsible for the design and production of portfolio management information and presenting key insight to senior stakeholders.
3. Understand the performance of the portfolio, analysing actual and expected losses, working with finance to determine product profitability.
4. Lead and support junior team members and represent the credit risk team on business projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. The development and production of key business presentations:

• Secure Trust Bank Board / Executive committee.
• Portfolio Review Meeting.
• Credit Risk Committee.
• External - Bank of England, FCA etc.

Senior analysts regularly present to senior stakeholders and are responsible for enhancements to the MI packs, validation of data, and ad-hoc analysis to provide the business with quality insight that drives change or appropriate business action.

What you will bring

• Substantial analytical experience.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of SAS, SQL or Python.
• Highly proficient in Excel, and experience of creating insightful reports.
• Understanding of wider Credit Risk strategy, scorecards and decisioning systems would be highly beneficial.
