Role: Senior Credit & Risk Analyst
Location: Head Office, Leicestershire (Hybrid 1 day a week in the office)

At NEXT we have a great opportunity for an analyst to join our growing Credit and Risk team as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. NEXT is one of the biggest retailers in the UK, and over 40% of customers who shop online with us do so using one of our own branded credit accounts. The Credit and Risk team are responsible for analysing all aspects of this lending, which covers 3 million customers with a total of £1.3B outstandings, using data to drive insight on how we can optimise our customer proposition and business profit. You’ll be at the heart of understanding our credit customers and designing, testing and implementing strategy changes to help support growing our business.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has experience in analysing data, particularly in a consumer credit context, and is looking to take the next step in their career. Our Credit Risk Analysts at NEXT get to work on strategy projects end-to-end, from inception through to partnering with other teams around the business to get their proposals into market. You’ll need to be the kind of person who has a real curiosity about data and customer behaviours, and enjoy getting stuck into complex problems and analysing data, using industry standard tools such as SQL or Python, to deliver great solutions for our customers.
The role affords significant flexible working with the need to be in the office a minimum of 1 day per week.
