Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Manager for the Credit Platform in the UK. You will lead a team of five Credit Analysts and shape the roadmap for credit valuation infrastructure, including NPV modelling, to enable scalable lending across UK markets and future global expansion.

You are a seasoned leader in unsecured lending with strong analytics and hands-on coding in SQL; Python and Looker experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in unsecured lending is required.
• Deep experience in NPV modelling and the infrastructure that enables credit decisioning.
• Strong leadership and analytical capabilities with a track record of developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Credit Platform roadmap and shared infrastructure for lending decisioning.
• Lead evolution of the NPV modelling and credit valuation capabilities.
• Hire, coach and develop a high-performing team of Credit Analysts.
• Partner with Credit, Engineering, Product, ML, Data and Risk teams to accelerate deployment of platform capabilities.
• Represent the Credit Platform to senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
