Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is recruiting a Senior Credit Officer (Director) for the Banks & Intragroup Sector. The role is based across London, Birmingham and Edinburgh with a hybrid working pattern requiring office presence. You will manage a growing Global Banks portfolio and lead complex credit decisions with delegated authority.

You will mentor junior colleagues, support front-line teams, and collaborate across FI portfolios to drive risk management and sustainable client relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in credit risk assessment of Global Banks.
• Excellent knowledge of lending and traded products.
• Led client due diligence meetings.
• Formal Credit training preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Look after the Global Banks portfolio with delegation of credit authority.
• Make recommendations on complex new transactions and lending/trading limits.
• Lead client due diligence meetings and build relationships with partners.
• Mentor and upskill junior team members and review submissions.
• Collaborate on FI portfolios such as Insurance, Securitisations and Funds.
