Reports to: Debt Enforcement Manager

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 Basic dependent on experience plus up to £5k Bonus

The Credit and Collections journey is a last resort in debt mitigation and one we always try to avoid through various upstream activities. Sometimes it’s the only way we have to help stop customers getting further into debt and to avoid making it harder for our customers to become debt free.

As a Senior Credit Controller / Senior Collections Advisor at Yü Energy you will assist our business customers to understand their options and you will support our field based partners, visiting our customers.

What We Need from Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

• Operating in a responsible and regulated environment
• Evaluating our customers’ ability and intent to pay
• Making Court applications over the phone
• Making key decisions to protect the customer and the business from further debt exposure
• Ensuring field based partners are fully prepared for upcoming enforcement tasks
• Engaging our customers over the phone and in writing to remove barriers to payment
• Ensure precise factual notes are captured on our systems for future reference
• Flag and escalate complex situations to management for advice and guidance
