Job summary

Sharp Consultancy are supporting a large, well-established business in the Bradford area, seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join the team. This role reports to the Credit Control Manager and drives cash collection and debtor-day improvements.

Key duties include building relationships with customers, producing credit reports, and streamlining processes. Hybrid working: 2 days at home, 3 in the office, with free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with Credit Control and B2B collections.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with internal and external customers for timely collections.
• Producing credit performance reports and identifying trends in debtor days.
• Collecting historical debt and escalating when required.
• Streamlining processes within the Credit Control team.
• Owning complex accounts and seeking settlements where possible.
• Collaborating with projects within the finance team.

Sharp Consultancy are currently supporting a large well-established business based in the Bradford area who are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join the team. This role will report into the Credit Control Manager and will be an integral role for the drive in cash collection, improvement in debtor days and cashflow into the business.

Job Duties:

• Building relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure timely collections of monies owed
• Producing credit performance reports, identifying any trends, places to improve debtor days and aged debt collection
• Collection of historical debt and escalating further if required
• Streamlining processes within the Credit Control team
• Taking ownership of the more complex accounts and achieving settlements where possible
• Assisting and working alongside other projects going on within the business and wider finance team

About you

• Previous experience with Credit Control and B2B collections
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
