Overview

This organization is structured into towers with emphasis in Customer Master Data Management, Credit, Billing, Cash Application and Collections. The Credit to Cash organization aims to maximize profitable sales, optimize cash flow, and minimize bad debt loss. The Credit Tower reviews counterparty risk by analyzing financial statements with the goal of mitigating risk. The Senior Credit Analyst builds relationships across the organization, communicates clearly, and complies with Corporate Policy and Procedures through complex credit reviews. The role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales and purchases are credit assessed and that evaluations are published in a timely manner. The Senior Credit Analyst ensures that systems containing credit risk information are updated to support accounts receivable reporting, portfolio analysis, bad debt reserve recommendations, and enterprise-wide collaboration. The role may involve assisting or negotiating with security instruments such as standby letters of credit. Responsibilities also include mentoring, training, and overseeing the quality of the Credit Analysts\' work. This is an office-based role in Hammersmith, London: 4 days in the office with 1 day remote (Monday or Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct due diligence of companies for new credit requests, sales orders, and policy-mandated reviews
  • Analyze creditworthiness of current and potential customers and grant credit within approval authority as necessary
  • Conduct thorough financial statement analysis and assessment of credit requests; present findings to leaders and stakeholders
  • Monitor risky customers on a regular cadence and update recommendations as appropriate
  • Take responsibility for specific portfolios and become a subject matter expert in those businesses or industries
  • Meet with customers and business leaders as needed and recommend risk mitigation (e.g., Letters of Credit, guarantees, securitization, deal and payment structure)
  • Prepare and communicate credit recommendations and pull reports from service providers
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Update order approval systems and internal departmental systems as applicable
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly reports, reserve recommendations, Treasury Rep letter, Global Exposure report, and credit portfolio reports
  • Manage expectations and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders in a high email volume environment
  • Engage with executive leadership as necessary
  • Provide input in process changes and represent the Credit Team in meetings as needed
  • May lead certain project initiatives
  • Review and approve credit reviews of Credit Analysts to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Mentor Credit Analysts and provide guidance on processes, observations, and risk conclusions
  • Coordinate tasks with the Credit Team to support system changes or projects
Qualifications
  • 3 years of credit experience or in a related field
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Preferred qualifications: credit analysis training or experience from lending or rating institutions
  • Understanding of bankruptcy law
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit and other security instruments
  • 1-2 years of mentoring junior team members
Education
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business and/or equivalent work experience
