SENIOR CREATIVE PRODUCER – UEFA DEPARTMENT

Whisper is a leading global production company, specialising in sports, unscripted and branded entertainment.

Our diverse team of over 270 team members work in offices across the UK and beyond, producing top level sports such as Formula One, UEFA and The Paralympics, as well as branded content, prime-time documentaries and entertainment quiz shows for a raft of broadcasters.

In 2023 Whisper won a BAFTA and was nominated for an International EMMY.

It's co-owned by Sony Pictures Television and is a eight-times Broadcast Best Places to Work.

We are seeking a bold, ambitious creative Producer who has made award-winning documentaries and promotional films.
Full of ideas for short-form and long-form content, you will be expected to push creative boundaries in Whisper’s UEFA department.

Alongside the Head of Content, the Digital Lead and the Magazine Show Senior Producers, you will help form the Creative Direction of the department, making new, dynamic and impactful content which enthrals global football fans.

What we’re looking for:

• A proven visual storyteller who can craft fresh, eye-catching ways of telling European football stories.
• A passionate believer in the power of emotional sports films, whether they’re 60 minutes or 60 seconds long.
• A feeling for the global football narratives that drive the content that fans worldwide want to consume.

Your Mission:

• To make award-winning football content for Whisper’s UEFA department.
• To inspire and bring on a talented team of Producers, Assistant Producers, Editors and Graphics Operator to make brilliant genre-defining content.
• To maximise the creative opportunities given to the UEFA department for filming long and short-form content, working within the framework of the budgets.
• To make content that stands out in a crowded market-place and resonates with football fans worldwide.
• The ability to work closely with the client to make content that is in keeping with their brand objectives.

• A demonstrated record of leading and empowering a team of creatives to make unforgettable films.
• A love of all of things that go into making brilliant films, of exhaustive research and creative discussion, of varied filming and editing techniques, and differing narrative structures and visual identities.

Location:
The base for this position is Kew, London.

Working Days:
5 day week, x4 days in office and x1 day WFH
You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirement.
Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week.
Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.

Start:
ASAP – 12 month FTC
