Senior Creative Designer - TikTok LIVE EU

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Creative Designer to join the TikTok LIVE design team in our London office. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse team of operation managers and designers worldwide to enhance TikTok LIVE's visual and operational impact in the EU region.

1. Collaborate with the central design team to create, define, and maintain a comprehensive style guide for TikTok LIVE in the EU.
2. Lead the conceptualization and execution of visual design assets for EU TikTok LIVE, including illustrations (3D and 2D), promotion campaigns, LIVE stickers, physical swag, email templates, LIVE creator education materials, and new product launch materials.
3. Work closely with local operation teams and global design teams to align strategies, generate design concepts, and produce high-quality visual assets.
4. Develop innovative design strategies that enhance user engagement, considering cultural nuances across different countries.
5. Conduct research on design trends, tools, and user preferences to ensure cutting-edge, audience-appropriate designs.
6. Oversee the entire design workflow, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.
7. Proof-check and review your work meticulously to ensure accuracy and detail.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience creating illustrations (2D and 3D)
• Understanding of creative, design, and product operation processes, with proof of successful operational design projects in portfolio
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Highly creative, organized, independent worker with multitasking ability
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration in cross-cultural environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in motion graphics and/or video editing
• Ability to use AI generative tools
• Experience in creating brand guidelines, visual identities, or toolkits
• Enthusiasm for the live industry and familiarity with TikTok
• Adaptability to a fast-changing environment
