Job summary

Arm is seeking a performance-focused engineer to join the CPU Technology team. You will analyse benchmarks, identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with compiler, OS, apps and CPU design teams to push performance boundaries across multiple devices.

You will work with SW/HW domains, develop performance tests on C/C++ models or real devices, and help drive architectural validation and robustness across Arm's IP portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from university/engineering school in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or related science.
  • Several years of software, hardware, or mathematics experience.
  • Proven experience in SW programming with technical management.
  • Passion to innovate and explore new avenues.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse benchmarks and workloads to identify optimization opportunities and understand CPU performance.
  • Collaborate with software teams, compiler, OS, and applications to implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with CPU design teams to identify bottlenecks.
  • Write/extract performance tests from existing SW applications and run on C/C++ models, emulators or real devices across OSes.
  • Work with modelling engineers, CPU design teams and Arm Architecture group.
  • Present technical results to Business teams and partners.
