Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior CPU Compiler Performance Engineer for distributed, high-impact work across AI and HPC workloads. You will analyze AI workloads, improve compiler toolchains, and contribute optimisations for CPU hardware/software co-design in a globally distributed team.

Role requires strong C++ skills, CPU architecture knowledge, and experience with compiler infrastructures such as GCC, LLVM or MLIR. Remote collaboration with teams across multiple regions is expected.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience with 8+ years of work experience.
• Experience with compiler development or a related academic project.
• Knowledge of Language Front-Ends or Compiler optimisation techniques and code generation modules.
• Strong hands-on C++ programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Design compiler and hardware-software co-design solutions.
• Analyse AI workloads to champion improvements in hardware and toolchains.
• Contribute new features and optimisation techniques for NVIDIA CPU architectures.
• Develop compiler software optimised for performance and scalability.
