Job Title: Senior Court of Protection Solicitor

Salary: Up to £75,000

Location: Worthing

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm based in West Sussex. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Adviser with particular Court of Protection experience to join a growing Private Client department.

We are seeking candidates with 6 to 10 years PQE who are looking to join a highly reputable firm as part of an ambitious growth strategy. We are looking for candidates who are keen to bring value to an already established firm on a Permanent, Fixed Term Contract or Locum basis.

Duties include:

• To handle a caseload of matters relating to the court of protection
• Working closely with a range of clients to provide fast and pragmatic advice
• Working with marketing strategies to attract new clients and developing relationships with current clients
• Assisting in development opportunities internally and externally
• Working collaboratively with senior team members and delegating appropriate work to junior reports

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant experience working in a Private Client department
• Some knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
• Ability to manage your workload, knowing when to delegate and when to request additional input, to provide the best client service
• An understanding of clients as our business partners & the importance of knowing what is key for them
• A willingness to engage in business development
• Ambition, leadership capability and vision to work as a team to grow the business

Package:

• Up to £70,000
