University of Oxford is seeking an experienced Senior Counsellor to shape student mental health provision. You will combine senior clinical practice with operational responsibility, delivering psychodynamic or CBT therapy, and leading on service development for a diverse international student body.

You will supervise trainees, develop specialist areas, and design training for college staff, while engaging in evaluation, research projects, and policy discussions affecting student wellbeing.

Formación

• Must hold recognised psychotherapy accreditation (BACP/UKCP or equivalent).
• Eligibility for chartership with the BPS for psychologists.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality psychodynamic or CBT therapy.
• Manage a caseload within the BACP Ethical Framework.
• Provide supervision to trainees and associates.
• Lead development of a specialist area and contribute to service strategy.
• Design and deliver training for staff and colleges/departments.
• Contribute to peer support training and supervision as required.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and work one evening per week during term time.
