The Role

You will lead legal activities related to negotiating and executing financing transactions, including bank debt, capital markets issuances, and joint venture project financings. Your responsibilities include structuring, negotiating, and documenting these transactions.

You will advise management and internal clients on legal rights, obligations, agreements, and statutory requirements related to financing transactions. Additionally, you will assist Law Management and other attorneys in analyzing legal issues and collaborate with outside counsel to negotiate and document transactions efficiently.

Requirements
  • 6+ years PQE, qualified in a common law jurisdiction, with experience in project finance or capital markets at a law firm or a combination of in-house and law firm experience
  • Experience leading transactions in a first or second chair capacity
  • Experience with international transactions and finance principles
