Job Description:

We are working with a leading technology client who is looking for a Senior Counsel to join the Safety & Law Enforcement Legal team.

The Safety & Law Enforcement Legal team provides critical support across Trust & Safety, Law Enforcement Operations, Product, Engineering, Communications, and Policy teams.

This Senior Counsel must have experience with digital platform and content regulations (such as the EU Digital Services Act, UK Online Safety Act, and India’s Intermediary Guidelines).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Legal and Policy teams to support regulatory compliance, inquiries, and engagement.
  • Collaborating with Privacy Legal, Product Legal, Policy, Engineering, Communications, and other internal teams to provide guidance and develop policies that meet evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Working cross-functionally to develop safety- and compliance-related tools, and monitor developments in surveillance and safety laws.
  • Advising the Safety, Product, and Engineering teams on enforcement of Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and obligations under platform and content regulations.

Our assignments are mainly full-time, with a hybrid working model in London and surrounding areas.
