Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Senior Counsel, Legal for AI governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity to lead and harmonize legal approaches across jurisdictions. The role reports to the Vice President, Legal – Litigation & Compliance and collaborates with cross-functional teams globally.

You will guide AI governance, GDPR/UK GDPR compliance, and cybersecurity obligations, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to manage complex legal risks.

Qualifications

• Qualified UK or EU lawyer with appropriate PQE experience.
• Expertise in AI, data privacy and cybersecurity laws across jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of ISO 27701 and ISO 27001; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead global AI governance program and advise on AI acts.
• Oversee global data privacy program and respond to data subject requests and regulatory inquiries.
• Coordinate cybersecurity legal risk with the CISO and manage breach analysis and reporting.
