Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Senior Counsel to lead AI governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity legal programs globally. You will work with executives, align with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, and advise on AI Act and data protection matters while coordinating with privacy and risk teams.

The role involves handling data subjects requests, incident response support, and managing outside counsel to deliver value. Hybrid work with international teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with UK/EU admission and law degree.
• Experience with AI, data privacy and cybersecurity laws across jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of GDPR/UK GDPR and data protection frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI governance, data privacy and cybersecurity legal programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including attorneys and cyber risk professionals.
• Advise on AI laws such as the EU AI Act across jurisdictions.
• Manage data subject requests and privacy impact processes.
• Liaise with outside counsel to deliver value and strategic advice.
• Address insider threat legal responses and policy development.
