Senior Counsel

We are currently looking for a dedicated lawyer to join the Aviva Investors Private Markets legal team as a senior counsel to support our growth strategy.

About the role:

The role focuses on Infrastructure investment, involving debt and leveraged equity transactions. We seek someone experienced in cross-border infrastructure and project finance, familiar with both finance and corporate aspects of infrastructure investments. A strong interest and ability to quickly understand various debt finance and leveraged equity transactions are essential. You will work as part of a professional team, building relationships with internal clients and external advisers.

Skills and experience required:

• Senior lawyer with extensive relevant post-qualification experience, from a leading firm or financial institution
• Experience in UK and European infrastructure finance and equity transactions
• Proven problem-solving skills in a creative and innovative manner
• Ability to manage external counsel on large/complex transactions, controlling external spend and supporting deal execution
