Job summary

HS2 Ltd in Birmingham and London seeks a Cost Performance Analyst to support the Head of Cost. You will manage budgets, track actuals, forecasts and Earned Value Management to enable on‑time programme delivery. The role requires strong data governance and collaboration with Project Controls teams.

The position offers a base salary across two locations with a 20% flexible benefits fund, pensionable, and a range of benefits. You will contribute to continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost performance analysis for large programmes.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and forecasting.
• Experience in reporting cost performance to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost performance analysis at programme and contract levels.
• Validate cost performance data from delivery teams.
• Support Head of Cost in managing the cost performance team.
• Ensure adherence to cost performance processes and data governance.
• Develop work-streams to enhance cost performance capabilities.
• Promote continuous improvement and governance alignment.
