Job summary

RIDGE SURVEYORS LIMITED in Cambridge seeks a Senior Associate to lead Cost Management/Quantity Surveying delivery. You will own projects from inception to completion, supporting pre- and post-contract activities and mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes strong client relations, commercial acumen, and progression toward Associate Partner. Flexible, hybrid working is offered within a well-connected Cambridge office.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying within a consultancy
• Strong delivery of pre- and post-contract activities
• Experience with NEC and JCT contracts
• Ability to manage projects with increasing independence
• Mentoring or supporting junior team members

Responsibilities

• Deliver Cost Management/Quantity Surveying services across diverse projects
• Take ownership of project delivery from early stage to handover
• Support cost planning, procurement and reporting throughout the contract
• Administer contracts (NEC/JCT) and manage commercial processes
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and contractors
• Contribute to Cambridge team performance and growth
• Mentor junior team members and support APC progression
