Senior/Cost Manager - Energy & Natural Resources

Due to continued demand and growth plans, we are recruiting Cost Managers with proven experience in the Power sector, including Distribution, Transmission, Renewables, or other technologies, to help us meet our clients’ ambitions.

As a (Senior) Cost Manager, you will work with high-profile clients, develop your consultancy skills, and diversify your sector experience. We support career progression both personally and professionally.

We currently support hybrid working and promote a forward-thinking approach. Part-time applications are also welcome.

Job Objectives:

1. Operate at a Cost Management level with suitable qualifications and experience.
2. Administer various contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
3. Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion within budget.
4. Proactively monitor and manage cost variances and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications.
5. Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
6. Manage contract changes effectively, ensuring projects stay within governance and adopt best practices.
7. Improve forecast and budget accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
2. Professional body membership or working towards one.
3. Experience with Contract Management (preferably NEC3, NEC4, or Option C).
