NG Bailey in London is seeking an electrically biased Senior Cost Engineer to join our Work Winning team. You will develop accurate and competitive estimates for MEP projects from pre-tender through to post-tender stage.
Working with the Bid and Cost Management teams, you will shape pricing strategy, identify risks, challenge solutions and propose cost-effective alternatives to give NG Bailey a competitive edge. You will also mentor junior Cost Engineers and help grow capability across the team.
We have an exciting opportunity for an electrically biased Senior Cost Engineer to join our Work Winning team at NG Bailey in London.
Working closely with our Bid and Cost Management teams, you’ll play a key role in developing accurate and competitive estimates for MEP projects, from pre-tender through to post-tender stage.
You’ll work alongside the Bid Manager and Cost Manager to help shape the pricing strategy for opportunities, using your electrical expertise and commercial awareness to identify risks, challenge solutions and suggest cost-effective alternatives that could give NG Bailey a competitive advantage.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll also support and mentor junior Cost Engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping develop capability within the wider team.

If you’re an experienced Electrical Cost Engineer or Estimator with a strong understanding of building services and enjoy being involved in the strategy behind winning work, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be commercially aware, analytical and confident working with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be someone who can get into the detail of an estimate while also looking at the bigger picture – identifying risk, opportunity and ways we can provide a more competitive solution.
