Wood Process & Energy is looking for a Senior Cost Controller on a full time basis on a PAYE or PSC contract for 12 months. This role is based at our clients offices in Northop, however remote working may be considered.

The role

You will be validating Contractors' progress claims, providing Contract Manager with accurate and timely cost reports, verifying cost performance against plan and identifying potential areas of budget overruns requiring actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
  • Timely and accurate execution of contractor's progress claims validation and cost control activities
  • Contracts Cost reports updating according to actual values and forecasts, highlighting potential areas of budget overrun
  • Verifying and validating Vendors and Contractors progress claims (after quantities certification by Construction / Engineering team) updating cost documentation and allocating costs to the right cost elements

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
  • Technical Diploma
  • Cost Control intermediate course is preferred
  • Previous Cost Control experience
  • Previous O&G experience
  • Development Project Management: cost planning and control best practices
  • Budgeting knowledge is preferred
  • Contracting: variations and claims resolutions
  • Quality: basic knowledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems
  • Good knowledge of MS packages
