We are recruiting for Senior Cost Consultants (Senior Commercial Managers) to join our Rail Consultancy business and be involved in exciting projects such as HS2, Network Rail, East West Rail & TFL.

As a Senior Cost Consultant at Arcadis, you will lead and manage the pre and post contract Commercial teams responsible for managing the tendering and post-contract delivery of multiple infrastructure projects.

We are flexible on location; you can work from an Arcadis office or from home, with travel to client sites as required.

• Responsible for all pre and post contract commercial activities and managing Commercial teams on assigned project portfolios.
• Ensure Commercial teams deliver value for money and maintain effective Commercial Management processes throughout the project.
• Liaise with Procurement teams on procurement activities aligned with project timelines.
• Monitor project budgets, manage changes, project risk registers, and contingencies, with accurate reporting and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with the Estimating team to provide current project cost data and evaluate high-value changes.
• Conduct regular commercial reviews of internal and external costs, implementing measures to manage issues and mitigate risks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in Commercial Management on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction contract terms, preferably NEC and ICC, with experience in Target Cost/Fixed Price contracts.
• Experience through planning, development, and tendering stages of major projects, working closely with Procurement.
• Experience in contract administration, reporting systems, and aligning processes with project requirements.
• Proficiency in contract, commercial, and risk management techniques, change management, and dispute resolution. Commitment to promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is expected.
